How to reset your ip address using command prompt.

 They are many ways to do this, one of the easiest way to do it is by using the command prompt feature which is a command of all windows version.  There is a lot of commands that can be executed using this tool, the one we will use is "ipconfig/release" first we will need to pull up command prompt by going to your windows start menu as seen in the sceenshot below.

Click on command prompt.

You will then need to type "ipconfig/release"
Once this is done you will lose connection to the internet.

The next thing you will need to do is type "ipconfig/renew" in order to reconnect to the internet.
ipconfig/renew as shown in the below screenshot.


Your internet connection should come up whin a few seconds.


Now you should be able to surf the internet again when the renewal of your ip address is complete as shown above.
